Farmer Lynn is finished with The Sunlit Man
If I had to rate the secret projects, I think this one falls at the bottom for me simply because it was the least playful. A trip to the Cosmere is still enjoyable, regardless and still easily soars into the 5 star realm. (Can this guy write anything that's NOT amazing??)

If you like a good TEOTWAWKI and aren't in the Apocalypse Whenever group here in goodreads, you are really missing out! They've been reading a great selection of books and Gertie does a fabulous job of running the whole thing.

Farmer Lynn is 25% done with Classic Calligraphy for Beginners: Essential Step-by-Step Techniques for Copperplate and Spencerian Scripts - 25+ Simple, Modern Projects for Pointed Nib, Pen, and Brush
I picked up some Tombow Dual Brush Pens and Calligraphy Writing Paper last week and did my first practice session today starting with the basic strokes and supplementing with some youtubes on brush pen lettering for some tips, since although both books I looked at include the brush pens in their recommendations and it seems like the easiest (and neatest) approach...they really focus on dip pens.

This is an Apocalypse Whenever group read so I wanted to make note of my impressions of the politics. I found it really interesting that the liberals who pushed for what ended up eradicating humanity were referred to in a positive light, but the conservatives who tried to stop it discussed with inflammatory language. Was this the authors bias or really how he feels the robots saw things?

Farmer Lynn is starting Satisfying Stitches: Learn Simple Embroidery Techniques and Embrace the Joys of Stitching by Hand
Currently working on my first project! I'm planning to stitch all of the practice projects onto a tea towel. It may not be pretty in the end, but at least it'll end up being a useful piece rather than just a bunch of scraps I'll end up throwing away.

Farmer Lynn is reading The Healthspan Solution: How and What to Eat to Add Life to Your Years
I was impressed with this cookbook. I ended up adding 10 recipes to my upcoming meal plans and would have tried more of the recipes if I didn't already have favorite versions I made all the time. I'll be coming back to this one again someday to see what else appeals to me as my tastes change.

"He saw the work that needed to be done, so he rolled up his sleeves and he did it." (From Gumption said of Janes Madison.) If I got to the point where people thought of me that way, I'd be pretty happy with myself.
