Come on, more autism, less German politics

Really enjoying so far. Schwab has a talent for vivid descriptions. The pace is pretty balanced- we seem to be building up, and yet there's still been a fair amount of action. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the world-building, as there are SO many characters, 3 different "Londons" and at least 2 other "countries?" There's also "now" and 7 years ago...so there's a lot to hold onto, but I'm excited to see where it's going!

Continues to be extremely tedious, but I’m hopeful that it will yield interesting concepts at some point!

The writing style is horrendous and distracting. I havent yet learned anything I didn't already know, which is good because it would be difficult to follow if I wasn't already familiar with the concepts hes discussing. I have considered quitting, but I'm hoping to get to (and understand), the "good part", and I'm not quite ready to give up yet.
