Not impressed so far, but maybe it gets better. Reading because it is on my kids school list of books and want to see if I would recommend to my kids. To be determined…..

My daughter recently read this book for a report. It has we. Years since I have read it so I decided to read it again so she and I can discuss it.

My 10 year old daughter asked me to read this book. She enjoyed reading it at school and wanted me to read it so we could discuss it. While a great read, some parents may want to take note of some sections of the book and the difficult topics (mom abandoned her family, prison, etc.). Lots of references to alcohol.

I am reading this book with my 10 and 12 year old daughters. It gives a brief overview of the Industrial Revolution. It highlights key events, inventors, and inventions that majorly impacted the Industrial Revolution both in England and in America.
