So far I can't tell if the author has forgotten what thye wrote several pages back from the contradicitons, or if the characters narrating are just super unreliable. I'm more annoyed at the school system in this than feeling anything for the characters

I didn't realise this was #2, I guess I am reading them out of order as The Ex Hex is still on my TBR.

I like this so far, it's a light hearted witchy rom com. I have used so many tabs in the first 100 pages alone from things that make me laugh.
And the completely 'normal' references to LGBT+ people is great.

I don't like the way the author has mentioned twice about the Death Tarot card being bad, which isn't true.

Well I wasnt prepared to be almost crying at only 35% through the book. Normally Tess leaves that for the last 10%
