Aristophanes requires a lot of knowledge of Greek culture to understand. Not sure that I fit the bill. Still, I have read it now.

Good historical fiction. This is the story of the lifelong love of John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster. They married at the end of their lives, legitimizing their children. She was the ancestress of the Tudors.

Who would have ever thought that a book about punctuation could be so entertaining?! OK, I am a grammar nerd, but I loved this book!

This book is a page turner even if one has seen the movie and knows the outcome.

Saw the movie. It was great and made me want to read the book.

While I loved the first two Outlander books and became attached to the characters, so will slog through them all to keep up with Jamie and Claire, I am finding this one, like the last two, to be too bogged down in historical detail. So far it is very slow moving--well written, but slow.
