As you know, I hate Captain Kuro, but most of all he’s harming Kaya who’s sick and nothing pisses me off the most more than that cos he really chose to harm a vulnerable person. Kuro’s backstory doesn’t make him pitiable.

I’ve finished all but one of my Islamic books on my bookshelf, and the remaining one is an autobiography but I want something more lighter than an autobiography to read.

So many regretted the way they had treated him. Bukhari is remembered for his deep devotion to sincerity, the ‘Leader of the Believers in Hadith’.

Poor Bukhari, just trying to spread knowledge and accuracy in religion. And someone’s jealousy resulted in slander that spread wide. But God knows. We can only do our best and trust God.

So heartwarming his welcome and return to home after so long 💕 having made his city famous.

Poor Bukhari. No one even bothered to ask him what he said so instead the wrong thing kept being spun by others, they should have spoken to him directly because when they did, it helped massively. The silliness of avoiding active communication. But Bukhari seemed to get through it.

“Two words are dear to the Most Merciful, easy on the tongue, and heavy on the scales. They are: subhana’Allah wa-bi hamdihi and subhana’Allah al-azim”.

Silver hair dude, man, really bad to lie and against someone who’s trying to do good work. So glad it didn’t spoil Bukhari’s legacy and the amazing kind things he had done.

He gave his money away so freely and was left without money at times but always got it back whilst having tawakkul.

Oh, I just love this. He offered to buy a house for his friend because he didn’t he the money. Ja’far said no, worked hard, praying extra long, having faith & eventually was able to buy a house. He then offered Bukhari a place to write Hadith, Bukhari in return offered to pay rent, Ja’far refused but gave in to the offer to pay for his groceries. All just so heartwarming to see love being offered so freely.

I love that he immediately said to pay for the pole he had broken. The owner said no, he doesn’t have to. And then Bukhari kept coins in his pocket to give to charity. You know it’s such a beautiful thing you’ll see some people have money/cash on hand ready to give to charity if they need, I need to aspire to that level one day.

Bukhari committed to making sure that each narrator met the person they are narrating from. Wow. That is a serious commitment to accuracy.

To think we could be walking among us who’ve dreamt of the Prophet (SAWS). I wonder about how he looked. I think the sealed nectar specified how he looked.

A woman said she’d pay 5,000 for his item and Bukhari said he’d think about it. The next day someone offered him 10,000 for his item, but he said he’s sticking to the woman who asked first even if it means he loses out on more money. How wonderful. True to his words. Integrity first.

Erm excuse me?! What do you mean he memorised the Qur’an by age 6 from listening and repeating after his mother?!

“Do everything you can to make Allah (SWT) happy. Focus on one thing and work hard to be the best at it.” His mother’s advice to him as he wanted to be like his father.

On that note, re Bukhari’s mother making a lot of dua for him, I would really appreciate plentiful dua this Ramadan for my health while I’m at this precarious stage in my health. Please, thank you 💕

Oh my gosh, almost teary. His mum made dua so much that his (Bukhari’s) sight would return until it was answered and she saw a dream of Ibrahim (AS) saying her sons sight was returned because of how much dua was made!

Soo interesting. I love how from a young age he learned to distinguish the footsteps of his family. I love how we all do this eventually, we know which family member it is based on their own unique footsteps. Bukhari’s vision was weak as a child so he mostly relied on his memory and hearing. I rely on one eye and one ear but I have a surprisingly strong memory although struggle with short term. Just so fascinating.

I really appreciate that they were honest from the start and said they took some creative licenses as ultimately there will be gaps in history but tried their best to remain true to facts.

I love Stormzy’s appreciation of Ed Sheeran. I don’t know why Ed gets trolled like that. He’s not only good but you can tell he’s just lovely and refreshingly normal.

Do TiiNY creating the set list 10 mins before going on stage is kinda crazy. I’m curious what the average time an artist spends on curating set lists for concerts.
