This book is so beautifully written I might die.

Everyone in my house thinks I'm angry. I'm not. I'm just very tense from the tension building in this book. I just might stay up all night in order to finish it. My heart cannot take much more of this.

I love the main character. And I ship these two. Hard. The dialogue is amazing.

I love everything about this book so far. The world. The characters. The magic system. The aesthetic. The Gothic vibes. I'm swooning and devouring this book.

This book has pulled me away from my current video game obsession, which is saying something. It's also the first book which has had horror elements that have actually freaked me out. I can't stop reading this book.

Okay, that's a killer opening. I'm loving the voice of the main character and the quick snippets of an interesting world I've already gotten, and I just got to the second page. Strong start after a couple of slow starting reads for me lately. I have high hopes for this and I really hope it doesn't let me down.
