It’s not until that first moment Gatsby appears that I’m reminded why I continue to reread this.

I don’t usually enjoy reading plays, and this is a lot of play. But I’m trying to expand my reading preferences a bit. We’ll see!

I’m pretty sure I’ve read every poem here before in their original digital forms, but there’s something about holding this thin, beautiful book in my hands and feeling the page in my finger tips while Mia translates her lives into language. I read for thirty minutes and got through three poems.
