Enjoying the story. There is a bit too much general waffle and description of surroundings, what people are wearing, etc, but there are a couple of real clangers that have jarred. One of the characters is mentioned as baking scones for 40 minutes, and then icing them! Later on she is baking doughnuts. Note to authors : please be accurate.

The more I read of this book, the more worried I become regarding our future.

Yikes - only read 52 pages so far, but this book, written in 2018, is ringing all sorts of alarm bells. Then, last night Four Corners really set them ringing.

This is getting a bit too tedious, so I have taken a break for a while.

Just can't quite get into this - it seems to drag a bit

Just can't get into this. The Olive Kitteridge character seems too mean and rather ugly, and the others are too pale and watery.

Apologies to the author, but this is too long and too tangled.
