This is really tough to read. It feels so forced and I’m really having a hard time imagining who talks the way that Eleanor does. She’s like the an escalated female Ted Lasso.

I dont understand this relationship that Ryle and Lily and straddling. It’s honestly kind of pathetic that this man told Lily how he is going to treat her on multiple occasions but she still wants to be with. It sort of mirrors her parents relationship

Im laughing at what Isolde turned in to

Isolde is now pissing me off and Adrian just needs to be a man and say what he needs to say

Smashed through 5 chapters and im just wondering more and more about Adrian’s history. I wish this was told from his perspective

The 1st chapter was hard for me to get through but now being in chapter 8 I feel like I cannot put it down. Isolde is so conflicted with feelings yet still not asking Adrian the right questions. I am excited to see what the process of her becoming Queen is actually like and why Adrian wants a Queen so bad.

This story picked up quickly and full of spice

I’ve been going back-and-forth with how I feel about the relationship between the two main characters. I feel like I keep getting stuck on how they met. I also understand how important one of the main character’s mothers is to them, but I feel like the amount of times, and the way that is brought up is excessive. The coincidence in Ch 10 just made me laugh. The spiciness of chapter 12 is keeping me interested
