Let’s see if I finish this. Not hopeful at the moment

The pacing is making it very hard to stay engaged with this book.

Boring but I love reading about the life one might have had during this time. It’s crazy

Kinda boring tbh but I’m halfway there so mine as well finish it?

It’s really giving umbrella academy with more gore and violence.

He’s in the arena. I’m so bored.

So far so good. The writing seems a little more elementary than songbird and snakes. And the violence/ dark themes seems a lot more toned down too. Which sucks cuz I love darker themed books

I’m really trying hard to finish this book

Was not at all what I expected a book of short stories. I’m use to reading very historic based fiction and wanted to try more fantasy. I wasn’t expecting the stories to be so abstract and open ended but once I realized the stories weren’t black and white and you kind of have to think about them it made me enjoy them much more. It finally clicked with “the thread boy.” My favorite story so far.
