When things break, it only shows that everything is already broken.

When you write a book that has essentially the same plot as another very famous author's book, you shouldn't take so long to get to the point. Suspense isn't really relevant.

This is bringing serious Severance vibes

So far this is social commentary masquerading as a novel.

Why is Lena in this book?
And who, lost in the wilderness and contemplating death, writes letters to her mother explaining background she would have known? Feels like a contrived info-dump.
Bev is great though.

I can't decide if I love or hate this book. The premise is so unsettling that I almost can't focus on the story

Chapter 6 just gutted me

I've only finished the first two chapters, but I can already say this book rocks. I recommend it to everyone I know and will be buying copies for family & friends.

Sooooo good! I just started it, but this one will be hard to put down.
