Omg I am sorry everyone but I really really don’t like her family. When her dad guilts her to coach the flag football team even though she says she can’t, and she makes the point that he didn’t do that when her brothers said they couldn’t and everyone just moves on…but fr though! Why did her brothers get to say no but she can’t?

Her family sucks. They left her to her own devices on the 1 year anniversary of her mom’s death, without so much as a thought that maybe she’d also need comforting? No, they were all too caught up in what they all need and want to think about her. She’s just the woman that emotionally takes care of them now that their mom is gone.

I hate her family. Like, this feels like the sort of shit where she, at 24, thinks she’s fine with it and they just have a family that busts balls, but in 10-15 years she’ll start to dissect it in therapy and realize how shitty it was that they expected her to be the emotional caretaker of a bunch of grown men.
