Didn’t predict the storyline, and overall I was interested. Felt a little annoyed by the back and forth perspectives, but like how the ending came together.

Wow! I was not expecting to be so immersed in this book and I’m so glad I picked it! What a plot twist towards the end, and the only thing I’m upset about is having to wait for the next book because that cliffhanger was dirty!

Glad to be done with this beast of a book. First, I hate that they call dragons “wryms”. Such disrespect (LOL)! I wasn’t into this book really until the end when they overcame the nameless one, but overall it was a great world building book and I enjoyed the imagery.

Really a 3.5, but such a hard book to get into. I hated the slow burn and the fact that they named the plague they are trying to find a cure for “Lyssa”. So many things could have been better written, but the last 20% of the book got interesting once Cross finally figured out Luella’s story. Of course there’s a cliff hanger and now I’m sure we have to wait at least a year for the next one.

Good story and realistically relatable to Salem witch trials books. Good fall book rec.

Was not a fan and found it hard to keep up with what was going on and attention kept waiting. Overall I liked the idea of the story, but just was meh at best.

Picked up this book at a local Bookish Bazaar event, and the author was there. I love the cover art and idea of this story, but it is a little YA. I wasn’t a fan of the multiple POV every chapter, and Eve and Theo were for sure my favorite characters. I wish I knew more about the Beast, and would definitely read the next book.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a little slow and what I thought was predictable at first, but man was k totally wrong. Definitely would recommend to psychological thriller fans!

Really liked the story and ending to this book. I know Elm and Ione were not the main characters, but their story was actually my favorite. As much as I love Rayven and Elspeth, it seemed predictable and meh most of the time I was reading. Overall, I would recommend these books to my fantasy-twisty reader fans!

It was a good story but super slow. I enjoyed the ending, but definitely think it was drawn out and some of the Deja Vu feelings were probably because it became predictable and silly at times.

Really 3.5 rating. I thought the beginning of the book was great albeit a bit predictable, but part two and three were meh for me. I foresaw the ending except for the final funeral twist at the end. Overall was a good quick thriller-ish read.

This book had it all! Enemy’s to lovers trope, magic, witches being hunted and saved, friendship, loss, mystery and twists and turns, and so much more. Super sad I now have to wait until February to continue this story, but I loved every second of it!

Interesting concept and I loved the Greek mythology stories, but was hard to follow at times because of the perception and characters changing throughout the book.

Very cute story about an author who has a fate encounter with a hot actor on the beach in Florida. She used him as her muse for her best selling new book, and he becomes the fictional character she wrote about to creep back into her life. Ups and downs throughout their story, but I finished it in basically one sitting and loved it all!

I really enjoyed this quick read. An aspiring politically well-versed woman is going through a divorce and joins another candidate’s campaign in spite of her cheating husband and finds that she can do more than just be a perfect house wife in the late 60s DC area.

Very interesting story about an orphan sold to a circus and her journey to adulthood. Also the rise of DNA ancestry tracing and how what once was lost can be found again, but also the turmoil new information can be.

I really love Kate Stewarts ability to write and make you feel like you are really part of the story you are reading. Kori’s panic attacks felt real, the love hate relationship with someone crumbling in their own stories felt real, and I always want more when I read the last page.

This one lost my interest a lot quicker than the first. I again am already over the will she, won’t she pick one brother or the other and then the continuation of whining about the difficulty of the decision… cliffhanger again, so of course I’m gonna read the last book.
