So far I’m thinking Arnon assumes his daughter is traumatized when actually he’s projecting his massive guilt for causing the accident by leaving her alone with an old man, a huge failure for any parent. His guilt is manifesting into self destruction and messing with the family balance, which in turn causes his daughter’s breakdown- aka a self fulfilling prophecy.

I increasingly don’t understand how the protagonist is in her late 40s. She is so childlike and has no goals or aspirations. It’s either bad character writing or just extremely sad.

Not really liking any of these characters tbh. Everyone seems like a caricature of one or two personality traits. Hopefully there’s some character growth
