So far, a major difference between this book and Gibson's other work is that his descriptions of street corners, polluted beaches and just any public spaces gives you the creepy crawlies. You also see his prose changing from the style he used for The Sprawl to the style he's using now. It's a good read so far.

What this book is trying to say, "Coach" said more eloquently and succinctly.

I went to the thrift store and exchanged Faulkner's seriousness for this book's seriousness. The way things are looking, I think both books will be neighbors on the shelf at my local Savers soon enough.

I just could not finish this book. I did get a coupon from Savers for 20% off when I donated it to them.

It's a fast read and very entertaining.

When an author writes "There, over thje next three days, they read Sabine's journal. What they thought will be told later. This is what tyhey read," you know the level of ridiculousness just went up.

Yawn!
