This is tickling that dystopian itch I’ve had. 👀

This book is so much like Hunger Games....

Possible Spoiler Alert
Things I am hoping/expecting before the end:
1. We see Marisol and Keegan again.
2. We figure out who the crap Shane is
3. One of our protagonists kills Dacre
4. We see the love stories bloom that are only being mentioned. *cough cough* Attie and Tobias, Sarah and Forrest. Also where the crap has Forrest been. The whole first book was about his disappearance.

So far I like that this one is explaining what’s going on outside of their relationship.

AHHHHHHH!!!

I am eating this up. This storyline is gripping.

How did I not see the signs in the first read... He makes my skin crawl.

I un-paused my audiobook right where she said "I let loose a breath, not realizing I'd been holding it." Girl, I am sorry. You must have been holding it all night since I left the book paused.

It's crazy how much greed inspires people.

I honestly do not know how to absorb this information. June is answering questions regarding why she felt that she should be the one writing this book - and while she was not the person who wrote it. I do look at her answer, as well as how people of Chinese culture would feel about a white person writing their story. I've seen this conversation come up about books I've read in the past.

So far all I can gather is how awful of a person June is.

Cringe.

The Dylan/Kian bromance is really making me look forward to the other books. 👀 just an inkling that the next two (if there is more than one) are about them.

I want to know why girls that are into hockey players in these books always have daddy issues. Like, is it something that goes hand and hand?

Strangely… I really like this book. More than I expected too.
