This is the second time I've read this. First read it 4-5 years ago I think and it's just as good this time. Still making me stay up way too late. I think I left it the right amount of time that I remember the big picture but not the minor details and it's still as exciting this time.

Have wanted to read this for years. Finally found a used copy and am quite enjoying it.

I dont want this to be the last book :(

Continues on shortly after book one and so far has remained engaging and above expectations. Really happy I gave this series a chance.

This book has really surprised me and exceed any and all expectations I have had for it.

This book has really Suprised me so far. I've had it on my ereader for years and decided to read it and have been really impressed so far.

Quite enjoying it so far. A large part of that may be how much I enjoy how Polansky writes. It may not be Low Town good but still great thus far.

Even though this definitely feels like a set up book Ive really enjoyed it. Just the right amount of intrigue where you keep wanting to know more of wtf is going on.

Getting close now. Been reading this book for almost two months and really want to finish.

I've been a punk rock fan most of my life played in a punk band and lived through somewhat similar experiences related in this book. I can easily say this is one of my favourite non fiction books I've read. You don't have to like the style of music to enjoy this book. Also it's my first book ever on audible, and it's narrated by the band themselves. Fantastic.

This one took a while to get going. Was actually worried that it would t be on par with the first two books but after it got into the swing of things it certainly holds up. I don't know if any of the books in this series will be able to top Way of Kings but either way it's a fantastic series.

So at about 60% complete this is currently at a 3 star for me. Sanderson's writing is great as always but I just don't enjoy Lift as a character.

It's been a constant fight between sleeping or staying up way to late to read this. So good.

This series is working its way to being one of the best grim dark series I have ever read (First Law will always be tough to unseat). The premise is so original and interesting and it doesn't hold any punches.

By today's standard in a world where Grim Dark has become rather popular Caine/Hari may come off as slightly clichéd, but when these books first came out he was one of grim dark's OG badasses. I love Royce Melbourne (I know Riyria isn't grim dark but similar characters) but I'm pretty sure Caine would fuck him up.

I've watched The Room many times over the years and have read a lot about it and Tommy Wiseau. I enjoy watching parody videos that revolve around it and have always been greatly intrigued by The Room and Tommy. A quarter of the way through and I have laughed out loud at least ten times. This is going to be a best of the year contender for sure.

I should have kept a scalp counter from the start.

Taking a fantasy break to read a little Cormac McCarthy to put me in a holiday mood... Oh wait..

Be prepared for a glowing review and endless recommendations along the lines of Tales of the Ketty Jay.

This book is quickly moving up the GOAT list. Like holy shit if it can keep up this level of awesomeness.

I'm really think if this series was written ten years later it would have been huge. Stover was writing grade A grim dark before the term even existed.

Now that is how you do a flashback.

When we finally get to figure out wtf is up with Janus i hope its as epic as this series has subtly built it up to be. Definitely one of the most mysterious and intriguing characters I've read. It takes a lot of restraint from an author to stretch this out over an entire series without giving it away, while simultaneously keeping it interesting. Hats off.

So easy to jump back into this series after a two book break. This series has surprised me the most in recent memory for how much better I like it than I thought I would.

I dont think there is going to be anyway I can properly explain this book once I am done. Tried to explain it to my wife and failed miserably. After a slowing start things are really starting to pick up.

This book is fucked up in a good way.

So far this seems really interesting. Definitely a different approach to things. See a lot of potential here.

This is good. Very good. The main character reminds me a lot of the Warden from Low Town, but a lot of that may be because it is also told from a first person perspective. It really allows you to enter the mind of Captain Galharrow and realize he may be a touch Cynical. Just a touch
