I love that the horses name is Doxology

god bangers after banggerrsssss

fine I will read this.

Lowkey why this better than the SIE textbook

if I had a nickel every time I read a Tower of Babel story, I’d have 3 nickels, which is not a lot, but it does make me wonder.

i should know better than to read sophies world esque books.
alas, i thought this would be more scifi than that.
i was wrong.

Trees x generational saga? recommending this to all ESPP ppl now

So I didn’t know this was his debut novel but I could tell and now that I know… like I was right.

So good?? Like so good? Three kingdoms meets all the myths and legends meets epic !fantasy!, story of two brothers in arms, forged as children of war! Ugh just so gooooooooood

I am so sorry to everyone who loves this book,
I am so keenly aware of what this book is trying to romanticize and frankly, wtf?

guys I be reading some books with shocking ties to my real life whaaaaaaaaaaaaattt

the twelve dancing princesses but gothic?

honestly, so good

honestly, so good

Currently on Yoneko’s Earthquake

Finished Omphalos, phenomenal take on Creationism

Finished Lifetime of a Software Object
…
First thoughts? Perhaps one of the most perspective shifting things I’ve read this year? Had me tripping balls and simulating mental debates against myself on the ferry

Finished The Merchant and Alchemist’s Gate, and Exhalation

this is cheating bc I've already read "in the grove" when I watched Rashomon and also bc im a huge bungou stray dogs fan, so obvi I know everything about the last short story, "the life of a stupid man" which summarizes akutagawa's life and (tragically his suicide at 35).

this dude sucks.

part iii

part ii!

on "Bapu"

ok I pirated this (sry, bc I just cannot give SJM money), and I also cant like not read it bc my guilty pleasure is slurping up any deus ex machina tropy story SJM puts out, but I am reading it, I am (bc im weak)
