I’m trying so hard to get through this book. Bridget is annoyingly naive. The second scandal which necessitates marriage is totally not her fault. The first scandal absolutely is and the fact that she’s blind to the fact really grinds my gears. She has fanciful notions as a ruined lady.

I’m going to finish this book because I want to see how the series ends. Honestly though, this book and the last two or 3 were not as enjoyable as the books in the beginning of the series. The women in these books are shrewish, argumentative and constantly put themselves in unnecessary positions of danger. Somer, Dorrie and Samantha are my least favorite characters in this series.

Seems like a religious novel. Not my thing personally, so I'm pretty much done with it.
