Why does this book give me the creeps? It feels like something straight out of a Detective Conan episode with the black unsub lurking in the corner.

I'm planning to read the second book but forgot what happened here so I'll start from the beginning.

I’m struggling to finish this. I’ll put it on hold and continue with Red Rising instead.

The blurb strongly reminds me of Darrow from Red Rising.

I dont understand why people are tagging this as enemy-turn-lovers. They’re not enemies. I dont feel like they hate each other either. More like Romeo and Juliet instead.

I've noticed this book popping up all across my social media feeds, and I've made a conscious effort to steer clear of any spoilers. Since the second book has recently been released, I believe now is the perfect moment to dive into this series.

Just hearing about time travel to the Medieval ages totally got me hooked on the story. It's like diving into a virtual role-playing game set in the good ol' days!
