Oh my goodness...I finished the Old Testament. I'm so close.

Oh my god I've been listening to this on an audiobook and finally looked in actual book to see how far I am and turns out I am literally 50% through the Bible. It's only uphill from there.

It's been like 25 minutes and this book is fuckin weird so far..........

Ehhhh I'm almost halfway through this and it's nothing new. Goodbye.

I hate this book, it's SO boring and meaningless. My job is doing a reading challenge and one of the books I have to read is one with a character who shares my name. Thanks a lot, I could barely find any with someone named Alexa. So we're here, reading this, and it sucks. I would put it down in a heartbeat if it wasn't for this stupid god damn reading challenge.

Okay uh, I'm realizing there is no way I was paying attention to the 2nd quarter of this book during my first read. I remember the 1st quarter just fine, but now that I've finished Book I again, I'm like "did I even read this book or was I just asleep, how do I not remember all these clearly important plot points???" Going through it a 2nd time I'm surprised I stopped before cuz I'm actually interested now.

A few years ago I dropped this book after reading half of it, but now that I listen to audiobooks day and night I decided to give it another shot.

We're back at it again for like the 3rd time, trying desperately to read this for a greater understanding of all the times it's referenced in other literature/media. It's just...so...god awfully boring and horrendous.
