I absolutely loved The Lost Summers of Newport. I hated for the end to come. Such an intriguing story. History and mystery and love all wrapped up in a good book!

I am having a hard time feeling anything for the characters in the book. I’m about 1/3 of the way thru but I’m taking a break for a while to see if I like it better later.

I stopping reading this book. It has turned into a horror book. I just can’t read. I will have nightmares. For some people I’m sure it is fine. Well written but just not for me. I tried though.

I received this new book from the publisher as part of the Ambassador program and because I am one of Vince Flynn, Kyle Mills and Mitch Rapp ‘s biggest fans.

Wonderful historical novel set during WWI

I gave up on this book because I was lost. Since it is in a series I was having trouble following some of the story.

I read about 5 pages and decided to stop. I couldn’t concentrate I think because this book is in the middle of a series and I didn’t realize when I picked it up to read. I may go back later and see if it interests me then.

I have officially given up on this book! There are too many characters and storylines and I have too much going on right now to follow and enjoy the book. I’ll try again at a slower time!

This book was great! Not what I was expecting at all. I am looking forward to other books by Cristina Alger.

I enjoy reading historical novels. I have never really read anything about Jefferson Davis. This book is about his wife Varina. So far very interesting.

I read about 25 pages and realized I was lost. Went back and looked and then saw I missed two books in between. So I'm stopping until I read the other books then I'll come back and finish this one.

I read this book off and on in my quest to eat healthy and exercise more and lose weight.

I couldn't finish. Maybe another time. I was looking for a story not just a description of what was happening during that time of her life. I wanted a novel. I love history and may try to read this later.

I love the coloring book... but I am taking my time with it! I am savoring every page..
