Just finished the story “Untamed Things” … i’m emotional

No idea what’s going on. Not sure the multiple perspectives translate well on audiobook… because I can’t keep track of who’s who and what timeline is what.

If you’ve never heard of the “America Plan” (also known as the Chamberlain-Kahn Act) let me tell you about it. It legally sanctioned military, police and health officers to arrest any women 'suspected' of prostitution, force them to undergo invasive STI screenings, and jail them if positive. Over 30,000 women were detained under this act during WW1. Another boil on the butt of American history.
