What a fairy tale. Charlie is one brave and remarkable kid and this is one big remarkable and, truly, epic storyline. King has made me want to read Dark Tower again. Do pick Fairy Tale up and try very hard not to keep reading. It is very, very good.

Must thank the Goodreads friend who has now got me hooked on this author and Lenox. Smart, clever, witty period crime drama circa 1855. Love it.

This is a very disturbing read. True crime, mostly involving children so far, doing the crimes. Wicked and horrific. Will take this one slow.

Can't seem to put this down, heading into the deep cave of craziness that envelops Jack and finally pulls him under. Such a great King story.

Oh, how good The Shining is, a re-read, of course, and delicious. King, the emerging horror writer, delights in Jack, Danny, and Wendy, with the Overlook keeping an eye out. Lovely.

Started reading this Monday and am almost finished. Macmillan tells one wicked good story. There's little truth in this tale but lots of big fibs and a most unreliable narrator. Very good read!

R- rated tales from one of the NHL's agitators. An excellent book! Conversational and honest first person narrative leaves little to the imagination. If you love hockey in every way, shape and form, do read this.

Wow, can't believe how quickly the pages turn on this great police procedural! Almost to the finish line...

A real wow of a read! The further in you get, the more amazing this mystery in space becomes because you know the author has been there! And on the moon the tension between two moonwalkers becomes unbearable, one an American, the other a Russian. Great stuff! So glad I made this my last read of a year that in many ways has been out of this world and not in a good way! A most enjoyable read.

This is one big epic read, really enjoying it!

Gruesome plus. The master is the master in this astonishing novella.

Oh, boy, this one just sneaks up on you and wham, aha moments aplenty! Barclay is at the top of his writing game with this one!

Got caught up in this book from the start. Creepy bad man Fergus has kidnapped a woman and child to make them his instant family. Dynamic police team of just met Connie and Brodie search Edinburgh for Fergus' lair. Page-turner plus.

A perfect book for a summer's day. Big, juicy read. Historical thriller. Think Bletchley Circle series. Well written, great characters.
