a crime thriller where they talk about asking the BAU for help and actually accurately describe the work they do AND reference the correct unit that would be working a case like that? it's more likely than you think!

small detail but very satisfying to me nonetheless, so far this is a very good read

reading slump cured, I am speeding through this and I am loving the way this book talks about the ethics of true crime! i didn't expect that to be a plot point but I really appreciate having a main character with personal experience who is rightfully very critical of true crime content
