Darren is currently fighting his arch-enemy and best friend Steve Leonard. Vancha and Gannen have both been taken down. and Des Tiny awaits to see who who will win. Before the final battle Evanna tells Darren if he fights Steve and wins he will become The Lord Of The Shadows and destroy the world. If Steve wins Steve will destroy the world the Vampaneze will rule the world. Darren is cornered with fate closing in

Darren Shan is now a vampire prince and is searching for the Vampaneze lord in Mr. Crespley's home town. when he arrives there they're greeted by a social worker who received school enrollment papers for Darren (even though they do not know who submitted them) they believe the Vampaneze set up a trap for Darren but Darren is forced to go to school due to the social worker involving the police.

Darren's main conflict currently is trying to expose Kurda as a traitor and a murderer. Kurda killed Darren's friend Gavner and betrayed the vampire clan and is helping the Vampaneze. I think Darren will expose him and will find a way to not get executed for failing the trials

I identify with Steve because of his friendship with Darren. Steve would do anything for Darren and cares about him a lot as do I care about my friends. Even though he wants to kill Darren he still cares about him.

So far the Survey Corps find out that Reiner and Berdholt are the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan. In his rage, Eren turns into a Titan to fight Reiner (the Armored Titan) outside of the wall while the Survey Corps. try and capture Berdholt (the Colossal Titan). In the middle of the battle Reiner breaks Eren's Titan head off leaving him vulnerable. Even however regenerated it soon before Reiner could rip him out

The story introduces Light Yagami the main character who is a high school student and the top of his class. During one of his classes he sees a notebook fall from the sky then afterwards he goes to pick up the book and it is titled "Death Note" he takes it home and reads it and it says that it has the power to kill people. So he writes down the name of a local criminal. The criminal died in 40 seconds
