De Nederlandse vertaling uit 1962 die ik heb gekregen van Jacomien, vriendin van mijn moeder, is nog best goed leesbaar, ook al zijn er wel wat woorden die ik niet zo vaak hoor of lees normaal. De schrijfstijl is ook wel interessant!

Finished Six of Crows yesterday, so this was my obvious next read. Also love the edition of the book, it is prettier than my copy of Six of Crows. It has shiny golden letters on the front, dark illustrated pages within the book and two beautiful maps in the front. Curious to see this story develop further!

So gooood! And I am so close to the ending. I am anticipating a very dangerous climax ending revealing everything about Magot's disappearance, but you never know. And I am loving the tiny developments between Robin and Strike over time, their relationships improves with each book. Curious to see where they will stand at the end...

I am completely captivated by this book. It now seems all lost, but still there should be something possible to save them all, as I am nearing the end of the story. Hopefully I will finish this book tomorrow, I am so excited to see what will happen!
