I seriously can not put this book down….

It’s switched on me and now do I feel bad for the dad?

This book makes me excited to see where Dagen and Zarras story goes

But also breaks my heart how she is treated by her family.

Her father is horrible. She never wavers from her strength while under the darkness and pain of her father though.

And dae learning about her but also being treacherous. I’m interested in seeing how or when he realizes he has true feelings.

Freya is not a favorite of mine on this one. I feel like yea we understand you are angry but do something to help.

Then all of a sudden we’re good with him.

Definitely should have recapped book one.

I’m going to just place this here to remind myself that she is the Fmc I aspire to be. She’s kinda lost a little trying to find her way but she is no coward. She’s like I’m just rolling with the punches and not taking anything from anyone!

Also, I’m still confused if we will have an MMC because if it Ryot I’m soooo confused. But also it better be him.

Starting off strong she goes and takes a dragon king so it’s give strong Fmc. But she crossed the borders so she may have made a mistake for her people.

Picked this up because a lot of my mutuals said I needed to read this one.
Beginning thoughts on this are it does seem intimidating because the physical book is thick. But I didn’t realize I made it quickly to 100 pages. The way the storyline seamlessly flows keeps you motivated to keep going.
Ryot just showing up and taking her um excuse me sir who are you.

I’m enjoying how Ferris is not cowering from Hendrix. The banter between the two is just too fantastic.

Basically she’s going into the forest to claim the spirits and the forest is definitely a place where you do not want to be. She’s with other champions and she is only there to claim redemption but we don’t know why yet.

Beginning impressions. Cover notes: this cover is dreamy and I love the blue tones. What drew me in is the title and obviously the authors.

After chapter one I’m already begging to know more about the great hunt…. Sucked in immediately.
