This story feels like we’re just with friends seeing them surviving one page at a time. Seeing them over come fears and just trying to figure out how to keep the kingdom safe. This is just perfection.
And Razik and Kalia I love their somewhat of a friendship.

Part 2 absolutely yes. They are older now and the characters were much more consistent. I enjoyed how Lena is slowly coming to her powers. Ready to understand why she was named supreme

Enjoying the story the love story between the two is very good but the character age with the spice scenes could be not so much

Already obsessed with Quill

The premise locked me in but we’re just kind of thrown into a new world without much lead up to the actual tarot magic system or explanation. And I’m unsure I like that she basically goes back to alder bc of money. And what happened to the when they were together like why does she not want him but bc he had money she does..

But also breaks my heart how she is treated by her family.

Her father is horrible. She never wavers from her strength while under the darkness and pain of her father though.

And dae learning about her but also being treacherous. I’m interested in seeing how or when he realizes he has true feelings.

Freya is not a favorite of mine on this one. I feel like yea we understand you are angry but do something to help.

Then all of a sudden we’re good with him.

Picked this up because a lot of my mutuals said I needed to read this one.
Beginning thoughts on this are it does seem intimidating because the physical book is thick. But I didn’t realize I made it quickly to 100 pages. The way the storyline seamlessly flows keeps you motivated to keep going.
