Too fast. I need to slow down :) ngl, I liked Dorian more when he was possessed (which is a personal issue)

Esee is starting Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, #5)
It's almost 5AM, and it took me 30 minutes to finally start.
I am not ready at all (and technically should be writing a paper right now), but I need to... MY HEART can't handle anything right now.

I am not emotionally okay right now.

Esee
Esee is on page 36 of 165 of Hector and the Search for Happiness
keeps updating us that Hector is a psychiatrist

sexist .. "he saw quite a few Chinese women, too, including sine very pretty ones, though not as many as in the films"

two references to professional men with animal-printed ties
more sexism ... falls in love with the first Chinese girl who talks to him—but doesn't even listen because he's too entranced by her beauty

blames gf for not coming after he cheats on her

I see the "art" of this. Surprisingly, I really do respect the oral format (the different point of views and the contradictions that came with it). The time travel that is being hinted by the end of this chapter is also intriguing.

However ... something ... like ew ... but also ... art? ahaha...

There is nothing bad about the book but THAT PACING! It's not like I don't like the book, but my reading pace for this book is SLOW and STRUGGLING. It's frustrating because I'm really enjoying this book.

The slow pace is killing me... especially since I actually really like the book and am curious where everything is heading too
