I’m so upset

Ok I’m sold, doxycycline is officially my favorite antibiotic

“10% claim an allergy to penicillin” yeah bc their doctor tells them they’re allergic bc they got an unexplained outbreak of hives months after taking it and instead of looking into that more the doctor just puts ‘penicillin allergy’ in the chart until you go get tested years later so you can work with antibiotics in school. As if it’s the patient’s fault.

Also it kind of bugged me that a book about how things aren’t black and white, and people aren’t wholly good or wholly evil only had characters that were either purely angelic or cartoonishly villainous
