Un Miss Black un po’ diverso.
Mi è piaciuta molto L’ambientazione nel mondo legale italiano e la caratterizzazione dei personaggi principali.

Un po’ troppo densi gli ultimi capitoli con un finale un po’ affrettato.

I could not really get into this story.

I am just wondering why Franchesca written this way… it has no sense. I get it is the American spelling but when in Italy I call a child Audrey I do not name her Odrei… I am liking the characters but that spelling really grated on my nerves.

If I will read in a blurb the words Science and Heroine I will not go further as I do for Spy!
Ok we got it, a lot of girls in Regency and Victorian age could have been brilliant scholars but society forbid them. It is all well understood just pls diversify the h interests field, in this year I have only read about mathematicians, astronomist, archeologist , naturalists, etc etc I wish for an old good society miss .

It is very hard to get into it

It was an interesting story but the novella length did not do her justice.
The plot was complex as the characters back stories and motives, the end was rushed and abrupt.

The end was rushed and left me not satisfied.
It was a novella length story with a very complex plot and backstory.
It should have been longer.
In any case an entertaining reading
