Diesel has returned after two years of being away. Not sure if that’s good or not.

Lulu was attacked by a swarm of bats. One tried to make a nest in her hair. Now she fears she's covered in bat poop and lice, and needs a bout 20 baths to feel clean again.

I’ve only read the first two chapters. Story looks promising.

It’s been a while since I’ve read the first seven Stephanie Plum’s books. I recently picked up 28. I not willing to read the next 14 books to get to this one, but I thought it might be fun to see where Stephanie is these days.

The chapter on dialogue inspired me to rethink my dialogue with plans to to improve it.

I checked my personal library of how-to-write books. Three books have one chapter on dialogue and one book entirely about dialogue.

After I finish this book, I'm going to read everything I have on dialogue.

Just finished the chapter on dialogue. I realized I could pay more attention to dialogue.

I looked at the other how-to-write books in my personal library and found several other books that have a least one chapter on dialogue, and one book about only on dialogue.

I've read all the books before, but I plan to reread the chapters and book to continue improve my storytelling.

This book is both reminding me of things I already know, and is giving me a deeper understanding of what I know, and is also teaching me new things.

Most importantly, it's inspiring my imagination and helping improve my story.

I like to read how-to-write books while I'm writing a novel.

The how-to books teach me new information and/or remind me of what I already know.

They also inspire the story I'm presently working on. In this case, Krunkie & the Last Dragon Eggs. I'm developing better drama and creating conflict, some of the elements of writing a page turner.

This is gong to be a slow read. Too many other interesting things to do. To bad, so far it's fun read.
