Gilbert vulnerably shares her story of her life post “Eat, Pray, Love.” It feels like she has ripped her heart wide open to desperately tell us so many things. This book is beautiful, raw, and terrifying at moments also; it discusses codependency, drug addiction, love addiction, and our need for God when we no longer have any power left.

I feel like I’ve known and loved these characters for years. 😍

Now one of my favorite historical fiction books to date. I’m looking for similar recommendations (survivalist, early American era genre). Please comment below if you have some good recommendations.
