Skimmed the first 20%.

I can’t get into the book. The author is using different words like click for seconds or sun cycle for day. It would have more sense if it were aliens and I get that she is world building but it annoying to keep track of all these words.

Not liking the writing style so far. It’s stopping me from getting in grossed in the story.

Kellen’s death was a bit convenient. Her trying to escape and kellen stopping her was ok but then Kellen was killed for attacking her. Then instead of escaping after all her preparations, she decides it’s better to stay with who she knows than to face the unknown.

The book lost me after this.

Obviously the keys are missing and her phone is dead but why can’t she stay with her friends or call them from his phone?

Seriously? The first door is Jocelyn’s room and there is no mention of her.

Anytime another prisoner is mentioned in the book is if the girls are waiting in line for their 5 minutes call. Rest of the tike it feels as if these 4 are the only prisoners in the book. Also it feels as if Jocelyn was only introduced in the book just to add drama and suspense to this part. For moat of the book she feeled like a footnote. As for Wendy i have no words.

Cant wait to find out the mystery behind the smell in Wendy’s room. I just hope its good enough.

50% in i was loving the book and was glad that the author had answered all the questions so far. However, now everything is happening too fast that its not believable enough.

5% in and I’m already skipping parts to finish the book already and find out what the hype is all about.

Will probably come back to this but so far not interested to continue this book.
