The four houses are now like Harry Potter 😅

This book reminds me a TON of Throne of Glass….

So this is definitely feeling like a Divergent style book - which I’m into, I love Divergent, and it’s been awhile since we’ve had a book like that.

Okay, Suzanne did a great job with putting in characters and references to BOTH the original hunger games trilogy AND the ballad of songbird and snakes. Lenore being a Covey and Snow’s seemingly random knowledge of District 12 is well done.

This book is definitely starting out way more readable than the last prequel.

So much has HAPPENED and I’m sure this masked ball is going to have so many NEW THINGS happening I can’t take it anymore

Really didn’t see Cormac as Silverbow coming though.

If I know ANYTHING about Sarah J Maas, is to never trust the first love interest remains.

With Cormac in the mix now, and obvious issues being brought up between Hunt and Bryce…. I admit I am terrified.
