Well written, I couldn't put the book down. Words that come to mind love, lost, and lies. I truly enjoyed turning the pages to discover the fate of each character

I understand the struggles of families living on almost nothing in America. I believe this book should be read by social work students and others working with impoverished individuals. This book gives some insight into how families attempt to make ends meet daily. Additionally, it touches on current policies and the need for advocacy efforts to address poverty.

This is an eye opening account of the life of Rosa Lee Cunningham & her family.

As I was reading this book last night it was hard for me to put it down and go to bed. I even cried while reading it.
