Stopped reading because of the profanity, mostly. Too bad, too, because it seemed like a great book and was well written, besides all the profanity. Some of the profanity would be understandable (police force, so that is believable), but the majority of the profanity seemed superfluous.

We're in chapter 13 or something. I've been reading this aloud to the kids - V loves the dragon. It is a fun book with lots of Chinese folk-style stories interspersed in the actual story, which is enchanting so far.

kind of a slow read, but very interesting information

Re-reading The Giver. It was one of the books my 6th grade teacher read to our class. I am making a goal to read all of the Newberry award books in the next 12 months. They are easy reads, so I should be able to do it fine.
