First Warhammer 40k book that I’ve read… don’t really know the lore and history of the universe too well but figured I’d learn it a little through this series of three volumes… interesting so far…

This is a great book so far! Love the subtle humor…

I’ve read several books on Hugh Glass over the years but this one is the first that goes into detail about his early life before becoming a mountain man… very interesting… I love the time period!

Took a good 100 pages to set up the characters and the situation, which I like… it builds the tension pretty good. It’s the first of the modern era Alien books I’ve read so far… I’ve read most of the Dark Horse novels from the 90’s that were classic….
