made it thus far last night

Well. This continues to escalate quickly...

I fell off the reading wagon there when the semester started to pick up, but this semester I don't really have classes to speak of so much as seminars. So, here's to hopefully getting in a lot of quality reading in and around internship shenanigans.

First two chapters don't provide much insight if you know a thing or two about how to introduce anything to clients or if you have familiarity with CBT, but good for total beginners.

So although I had seen this on the shelf at my practicum for my masters, I never bothered to crack this one open. Immediately filled with regret. What a great resource.

Already sold and I have barely begun.

I feel like heterosexual sex has never been more gross than what I just read.

Might finish this tonight. Got some thoughts for sure to review with.

Impressive. Don't salute was just starting to get stale and then Prachett switches things up. Can't wait to see how this all ends.

Now it's getting good.

This feels like a Gaiman story told with Kadrey's style minus the dark humor.

I think I can see what people view as Kadrey restricting himself to YA standards, but I just feel like it's more not bullshiting the target audience. So far, favorite bit was Zoe with her father. Solid amount of heart that feels honest and not just there for fluff. Pacing is as expected.

Nearly done already, but sadly getting tired. I can't even comment on a single thing I love because I love it all.

I read this last year, but I wanted to read it again because it's so great. First book of the year. I'm also noticing some of the smaller details that I somehow either forgot or didn't notice the first time. Such as when Polly quickly loses interest when it comes apparent Strappi won't be decapitated.

A little bit of a jumbled start, but I love it so far.
