This read so YA - main character is supposed to be 21 but she reads like she is 16 - the writing is also terrible no continuity, all telling rather then showing and the spice scenes are...cringy - it is only adult due to the spice scenes.. yet i cant seem to put it down .. its like the mortal instruments series - guilty pleasure - just wish the spice wasnt in it!

Reading for book club. that first section was crazy!

I feel like i should have reread Strange the Dreamer before going into this but I didnt have it in me.. hopefully i get just as much enjoyment even though its been years
