Part of me thinks this is just a relationship deep into praise kink. But her inner thoughts make me wonder if she’s not made for that kind of relationship. I’m so confused. Maybe I’m reading way too much into everything.

I’m not sure what to think about the start of their relationship. Cass has such a low opinion of herself. I don’t have a problem with Ant’s fantasies. What’s bothering me is that I’m not sure she really does want the same things. She wants to please Ant. They aren’t HER fantasies.

Reading sex scenes with Dom and Gabby is making me want to puke. How she fools everyone, I’ll never understand.

So I’m reading this series out of order. I’ve already read book 4 and loved it but know I missed out on a lot of backstory. Especially the beginning of Thomas and Lyla’s story.
My problem is having to read about Gabby! I already know she’s a conniving little b*tch so I’m never going to like her. I hate that Kayden’s friends with her, it seems.

Since this takes place BEFORE book 1 my heart slowly breaks with each passing page. I've read a lot being laid up with my bladder condition over the past months and NOTHING has touched me quite like these books. The writing is indescribably beautiful and too truthful at times.

Not only do I hate Rosa with a blinding fury but I'm also SO angry with Nora. How could either of them do this?? I never thought I'd feel this way about either of them! :(

I just got my ARC today! I had thought they just hadn't been sent out, but I got skipped somehow...I should've checked around sooner to see if everyone else had theirs, But now I'm reading it as fast as I can, I'm so excited!
