Currently thinking this book should be called "Just the stupidest couple"
OMG! Dumb and dumber! Thinking I can't keep reading about this pair of twits!

The lack of speech marks is doing my head in. I have to concentrate super hard so I can tell when it's internal monologue and actual speaking aloud between characters. Also the references to Dusty (boss & assuming owner of Dusty's independent record shop) being on horse back all the time to come and save Kathy is just weird or clever is it referencing to real life shop "Rockinghorse Records" in Brisbane'a CBD?

An incredible story & very well-written. I picked this up whilst on holidays and started reading it straight away. My 12 year daughter ran out of books to read so she started reading it too. Now we take turns and fight over it! On the plane ride home we'd swap every 10 minutes. We then took it camping in Maclean at a big Highland Gathering, moved it to keep it out of the rain and it's gone missing! More to come!

I'm not sure what I think of this book. I saw the movie first and was hoping the book would have more detail. I actually stopped reading it for a couple of weeks and only went back to it because it needs to go back to the library in a couple of days.

So far so good. Light read. Characters are good but not overly loveable. Plot good. Just feels like it is missing some zing.

Really enjoyed this book set in Australia. There were tears. All the characters were extremely likeable.
