This book is looooooooong, holy. I already feel like I’ve lived a hundred lives and I’m only 37% through….

this book is so slow and for the length as well, it's lowkey a drag to read. i'm keen to keep going though and i hope it picks up :/

I gave this book 5 stars when I was 16. Looking back and reflecting on the plot of the book, I'm re-reading it now to see how differently I feel about it.

Currently reading this book to see what the hype is all about, but the characters and storyline seem so familiar to me. I’m not sure if I’ve actually read this book before… or if it reminds me of a Wattpad story I’ve previously read…

the book is solid so far but the one thing that really irks me is how close the whole company is, haha. maybe because i also work in corporate and would never in a million years be THAT open with my boss and colleagues about my personal life and relationships

i like the concept, but i don't really connect with any of the characters so far, even though i'm already 11 chapters in. they just seem very boring and we haven't really seen much of their personalities yet.

i don't know if this is the book for me!! despite all the good reviews. tbh, i'm not usually a fan of second chance romances haha

not sure how i feel about this book so far! to be honest, i don't feel a strong connection to either character yet. but i still want to give it a solid chance because alot of people do love this book.

I didn't know this was the 4th book in the series until I had already started reading it, so I'm planning to go back and read the first three books when I'm done. So far, unexpectedly really liking this. The characters are funny, the romance feels genuine, and it's a nice slow burn that doesn't feel too dragged on.

The banter in this book is EVERYTHING!

WOW this book did a complete 180. IT’S FINALLY GETTING REALLY GOOD AND DRAMATIC!!!!

This book is the true definition of a slow burn. Close to DNF-ing this if it doesn’t get interesting soon.

Although this book is about Sophia, I’m also happy that other characters like Liv and Jillian are still in it (even though Jillian literally annoys the crap out of me!)

I like the plot so far, especially with the food tasting and learning about the different poisons. Not gonna lie, I thought the Commander was intended to be the love interest HAHA.

ok i love the characters in this series, like they will always have my heart. but there are already a couple of things i don't like about this particular book. i also don't understand how it is classified as 'young adult fiction' haha the sex scenes are just... not young adult appropriate ??

It’s taking me quite a while to get through this book. I think it’s because the romance in it truly is such a slow burn. The writing is fantastic though.
