This story just throws you right in, no explanations, and makes you catch up with it. I love it so far! That might turn some people off, but for me it's fantastic. How Yoon managed to make a battle fought with mathematical equations is pure magic right now, but it happened.

This book is SO GOOD SO FAR. It's hard to not underline every sentence as especially poignant; they all are. Everything I've read so far has been masterfully written to convey a truth counterpoint to white society, and it's goddamned perfect. I seriously cannot wait to finish this book.

I already had to put the book down because there was so much to think about. The mood dialers wormed their way into my head as I started considering the conundrums that come with forcibly choosing your own mood to fit your needs. After all, if you're choosing to feel a certain way, isn't that indicative of choice? Yet can any mood said to be authentic? Any emotion real? What is real? So thought provoking!
