This was a free Goodreads giveaway. I would have rated the first half of the book a 3 star, story seemed interesting. The stage directions in the dialog were completely distracting, could have used a good editor to clean up some storyline issues. About halfway through, the story took a hard turn into ridiculous. One of the few books I DNF.

Very enjoyable read, lots of plot twists to keep it interesting. I liked that the main character was neurodivergent without the divergence being the character.

DNF I wanted ti like this but I could jot get oast the overly embellished writing. Why say in 10 words what you can stretch out to 30. There must have been a sale at the adjective store. The pirates way of speaking was unintentionally ( I assume) commical.

A classic heist story (think Oceans 11) told in a mildly dystopic future. The Hawaiian family background was a solid backdrop to the action of the heist story. I took me a moment to get all of the pidgin, I hope there will be an audio book so I can hear the correct sound and flow of the conversations. Besides the main characters E and A my favorite was Malia

First half of the book was an interesting read, the last half was a bit underwhelming. Too much repetitive phrases, unbelievable coincidence, and clichés.

Interesting book, history told through the significance of cultures, society, art, warfare, conquest... through the history of different carpets.

2nd installment of adventures with Spec Ops agent Thursday Next. Fresh of the Eyre Affair, Thursday finds herself in a PR spotlight she would rather avoid when an odd coincidence occurs.

Got so bogged down with names, alias, places, groups of people, and businesses that I could not follow a plot. Might go back to it if I ever have time to map everything out

This book is in need of a good editor, there are some very repetitive sections, the pacing is erratic and some section make no sense. The system has full access to the internet and has to ask what dancing is and if a coffee mug gets warm. Explanation of feelings is with other feelings they would not know and did not explain how he could talk to the system in public and not look like a lunatic talking to themselves.

Enjoyable book, fast read, a mix of humor and sentiment in a fantasy about everyday life

A feminist woman of color tries to break into the art world only to find acceptance impossible and even being acknowledged beyond her grasp. 18 years later the scenario playing out again.
With paranormal aid things may turn out better

Thought provoking premise, at the moment of death being able to change regrets and see how life played out.

High recommend
