Didn't realize this is a time travel story, which I normally hate. Giving it a try out.

Wonderful read! All the classic events of the transition from WI to Kansas, but from the adults' point of view.

At chapter 4. The conversational tone was cute at first, but now it's a bit irritating. Recommended for us to consider for 6th, but the hs protagonist might not hook them like Front Desk did. Plodding onwards!

Had to pause for just a but after chapter 83, for I fear the path is set for Dr Anna. This hits to close to home, especially for a summer dedicated to mh rest and healing, and a season of having those same intentions to get out of a toxic environment. Here's to hoping paper-people Anna finds a better way.
