Primer cuento leído. Había visto la peli pero era tan meh que ni me acordaba. El cuento no es mejor.
Parte el club de lectura improvisado que tenemos con mi jefa. Vamos a leer este libro a lo largo del año, un cuento por trimestre.

The book is engaging, but at the same time I get this feeling that this is not for me.

2nd book down. Last book of the year! I'm confident the 3rd book will be my 1st book of the year :)

Fue cuando apenas leí cómo el narrador describía a la protagonista, que me dije a mí misma "Upa, esto no pinta bien". Y con cada página se desbarranca más. Entiendo que esta novela tenga un público, sin embargo no entiendo que lo recomienden a viva voz. Muy malo.

When you are reading 3 books at the time and the author of one of your favorite books comes out with a new book:
Goodbye 'Pride and Prejudice', I hope Lizzy and Fitz can work everything out. Goodbye 'Perdido Street Station', I hope Yagharek will get new wings and that Lin will survive. Goodbye 'Christine', I hope you won't end up killing everyone. BYE!!!

I feel bad that I haven't got more time to dedicate to this book. But I'm really liking it.

Re-reading this one for a book club. Though it's the first time I read it in its original language. I'm surfing though this.

Reading this with a friend. The homosexual subtext is uncanny.

I must be reading this the wrong way, because I'm hating the priest! Acually despising him! Oh, dear :/

I really meant Excelsior in the previous book's review.
So, I have a SUPER CHILDISH complain about the title of this book. And it is that nowadays, when I Google about Susanna Clarke's/Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell's Raven King, I'm sometimes directed to this newer Raven King haha

We have lost Ursula Le Guin, and it's so sad that I can hardly bare to see my username. But it's a new opportunity to meet her again: to reach for her books. If you haven't read Ursula, go ahead, give it a try. And if you have, let me give you a hug.

So, I did betray The Raven Cycle with this book. And I'm having no regrets!

This book really demands your attention. Reading it with other books is not such a great idea.
