I returned the audiobook to the library. The narrators were bugging me, and I think this book is too good to be ruined by poor narration

I’ve already cried and I’m only 7% in. AND I’ve already read this first chapter, so I should know what’s coming… but alas I am just a girl

Despite the amount of sex (a lot) this feels entirely like a political book. Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about it. I don’t enjoy it for the sex (it’s more an aspect of their life rather than smut), but I also don’t know how I feel about the politics. I can’t tell if I’m interested or not

Nearly burst into tears on my way into work at 6:45 in the morning due to an innocuous passage in this book. No warning for it either. I’ve never had that happen with a book before and it makes me like this one all the more
