I’m bored.

I have exactly zero illusions that me posting this on my Goodreads is somehow going to bite me in the ass with embarrassment but here goes

Idk it’s kinda lost its it factor

I needed a little more whimsy in my life so I guess I’m on a Middle Grade book kick

This is pretty… but a little boring so far

Only 7% in and they’re already pissing me off. Like these are not the characters that I was reading about in the last book. I can feel the leadup to a DNF

I returned the audiobook to the library. The narrators were bugging me, and I think this book is too good to be ruined by poor narration

I’ve already cried and I’m only 7% in. AND I’ve already read this first chapter, so I should know what’s coming… but alas I am just a girl

Despite the amount of sex (a lot) this feels entirely like a political book. Honestly, I don’t know how I feel about it. I don’t enjoy it for the sex (it’s more an aspect of their life rather than smut), but I also don’t know how I feel about the politics. I can’t tell if I’m interested or not

Really don’t like this narrator. She’s just not doing it for me. Also the editing is weird with this book
