this book is very what
I'm not sure what I was expecting beyond carnal knowledge of trees, but so far this is exceeding my non-expectations with...something.

what even is this book
this would be an amazing book club selection

My personal copy has arrived, but so has a stack of ILLs, so priorities may have to be shifted. I will get there!

UPDATE: Personal copy is en route, so I'll be returning this to open up a new COMCAT request.

I just started this and can already tell that I'm going to need to get my own personal copy to savor.

"These parallel personas inhabit space stations and medieval villages, excavate the Devonian seabed, and plumb a subterranean Anthropocene."

HELLO IT IS FOR ME

Just found out this has a hold on it, so it's jumping to the front of the fiction queue!

I apparently read this in 2023 and have no memory of it. That isn't a great sign, but I think it's more indicative of the quality of my memory than the quality of the book itself. I am enjoying it, so I shall re-read it, that (presently) rare reading behavior (for me).

Not just invertebrates, but in this work, she speaks of, with, about, for, mollusks

THIS COVER

I have never seen an author approach invertebrates in this fashion.

After having to return it to the library, I purchased a copy. Ironically, this means the reading priority has shifted a bit to the "Less Pressing But Still Very Interested" Book Pile, but I will probably be reading it soon.

Borrowed from the Queer Liberation Library, (www.queerliberationlibrary.org) which has a fantastic collection of poetry that I've only sometimes been able to get through state-level interlibrary loans.

I've only looked at poetry thus far and am excited to look into other genres/categories of book. What a resource!

hahaha i still can't find this book in my house, so I ended up paying for it: my shame is boundless.

However, I'm still determined to find this volume, read it, enjoy, and try to return it to the lending library, if it hasn't already been deleted from the system.

I don't know why it's going so slowly for me, but I feel this is a resonant text for me.

I...can't find the book!! It was due on January 6th! I already contacted the lending library and they were understanding, but I feel like the worst.

I hope I find it, I check out things because I want to read them...
